Terms of Use

By engaging Shift for web design services, you agree to the following terms.

Services

We provide web design and development services as agreed upon in writing. The scope of work, timelines, and deliverables will be detailed in your project proposal or contract.

Payments & Refunds

• A 30% deposit is required to commence work, with the remaining balance due upon project completion
• Payment terms are NET 14 from invoice date unless otherwise agreed
• Refunds are available only in cases where we fail to deliver the agreed-upon scope of work
• Additional work outside the original scope will be quoted and billed separately

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you will own all custom website assets created for your project, including design files, code, and content. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless expressly requested otherwise.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the specific project. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We will not be responsible for losses arising from third-party services, hosting outages, or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Adelaide, SA.
